When someone is negative, angry and vents -know that they are struggling within! When a plant is dying we nurture it and not blame the plant for not blooming. People who suffer are also the victims crying for help. Instead of taking an ego filled rage trip yourself and suffering...show compassion and think how you can be of help!!

You should make a greater effort. Forget the past and trust more in God. Our fate is not predestined by him; nor is karma the sole factor, though our lives are influenced by our past thoughts and past activities. Get busy and weed the garden of your life.

I always wonder when I gaze up at the stars in the night no stars, planets, or even nebulas look alike
They all are different and unique
just like you and me
The planets in the solar system
are unique in color and size
Some are blue, some are orange, and some are white
The universe is full of diversity
7 billion people live on the planet Earth with unique lives, stories, and touch ids
Isn’t it amazing no two fingerprints match
No two people have the same hands, thoughts, and stories
That makes me wonder - 7 billion stories!
I wonder how many plants, birds, insects, and animals exist They all are so unique and part of this big universe family
Sometimes I wonder what if everything was just the same color This entire world would be so colorless
even with so much color
Diversity doesn’t make us all different, It makes us all unique
Unique just like each star in the sky, each grain of sand, crystal, and snowflake we are all part of one rich universe family
Sometimes I wonder why we don’t wonder more How the universe is so unique
made from you and me
We can enjoy so much in this universe, There is so much to learn and explore
So where is the time to decide who is right?

Reuse - A fun Eco-Friendly Thanksgiving craft idea using paper, cloth and other scraps!

Colormehappy Turkey- fun thanks giving art project using finger paints!!

All you need is

• Paperstock
• Finger paints
• Marker
• Wiggly eyes
• Glue

Dip thumb in paint and make impression on the cardstock for the face.

Dip index finger in paint and make wings.

Stick wiggly eyes using glue
Use marker to draw nose and legs.

At the end of each day, someone were to play a video of you back to yourself and you could see it all, you would wince quite often and say "Ugh!"
You probably would see that you do all those things for which you criticize all those people you don't like in your life, all those people you judge. Basically, making friends with yourself is making friends with all those people too, because when you come to have this kind of honesty, gentleness and goodheartedness, combined with clarity about yourself, there's no obstacle to feeling loving-kindness for others as well.
So the Ground of Maitri is ourselves!

* Maitri towards ourselves doesn't mean getting rid of anything, change ourselves or become something better.  It's about befriending who we are already. It is accepting ourselves just as we are right now without any judgements.
