Crafty butterfly - Reuse idea using scraps of paper!

All you need is

  • Scraps of paper (you can use wrapping paper, magazines, art projects etc.)
  • Pipe cleaner
  • Lollipop

  1. Cut 2 papers with different patteren in same size squares.
  2. Starting from corner of square start pleating the paper into an accordion fold or zig zag fold (like you are making a fan) till you reach the opposite corner.
  3. When done folding both papers, tie them together from center using pipe cleaner. Insert a small heart shape lollipop in the pipe cleaner. you can also stick the lollipop on a small heart paper using tape.
Bells are not required but my daughter really wanted a jingly butterfly :)) you can use beads too.
On the other butterfly my daughter wrote with black marker and painted colorful hearts. It looks really good.
Picture coming soon when I will get hold of it. She wants to have her own blog...you see...I told her she is just 6 and I can use it for now. She is very particular about her copyrights;))

Thanks for visiting and you have a colorful jingly dingly day:))
